Chapter History
The Orlando, FL alumnae chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was founded on May 11, 1954. We serve the Orlando metro and surrounding areas. Our chapter members enjoy gathering together for many types of events, including:
Kickoff Parties
Happy Hours
Brunches
Book Club
Service Projects
Orlando Magic Games
Fall Festivals
and much more!
In 1992, ZTA began supporting Breast Cancer Education and Awareness as its national philanthropy. Locally, the Orlando ZTAs have participated in different fundraisers in order to raise money for the ZTA Foundation, which supports Breast Cancer Education and Awareness, as well as scholarship and educational programming. We also volunteer every October at the Orlando Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk (the largest one in the country!).
Our alumnae chapter has the pleasure of working with the Eta Kappa collegiate chapter of ZTA at the University of Central Florida. Our members enjoy attending dinners and brunches with these lovelies Zetas. Some of our members also serve as the advisory board for these amazing women. We have loved to watch the chapter, and these women, continue to grow with every year! GO KNIGHTS!
